Heart or mind, who is the culprit?

They say, heart is to love and brain is to think

Hard to see such organs, hard to feel such emotions,

We are sans these and thus lies the dearth of humanity

Money is the god, greed is the father

We worship the bad and then search for good

Kindness and help are an ecstasy.

Today’s man is a gossip freak

He love to see a woman being raped

And would still lay indifferent to the sufferings

And that’s all day meal to talk about

Stealing ones hard earned penny is not a crime,

While dealing with ones work money is not a bribe

You become a criminal when you are sick,

When your black side is on a rise,

When your smile has an evil hint inside,

When decisions are hard to stick,

Leveling yourself down is a crime.

An animal only hunts,

Hunts for food,

But humans hunts for sight,

Hunts to prove their might

They say it’s our intellect that sets us apart

But that wisdom is long ago bygone.

When this part did capture us?

Four legs are not enough to describe an animal

It’s our indifference to suffering,

It’s killing with malice aforethought,

That has graded us down.

Who we are? What we are?

Is there any answer to it?

We search for this in temples,

In the name of god we fool ourselves and others,

We collect money not love.

Violence is so high, whom to blame?

God, corruption, poverty or human itself,

Decide for yourself.

Feeling of self conscience has bygone

That’s why every human is forlorn,

Physical never hurts; it’s the trauma that we suffer,

The malice in our every portrait

Knits the bead of sins

Bygone are the days of introspection, money is the god

Stating your might, sets the level of pride.

Is it a cold war or a civil? Or a war within?

Search your soul, ask your soul,

That who you are?

Is this a humanistic soul or an animal lurking inside?

Where are we heading? Forgetting our norms.

Scientists say, it’s the evolution of a man,

Yes it is, but where to a better person or an animal inside.
